New meds.... I'm not sure about them.

So after my hospital stay the doctor put me on a new medication for depression. Its only been a week and each day ive felt a little better along with my outbursts but my anxiety and ocd seems to be getting worse. This wasn't the best week to try a new med with the anniversary of my sister's death and a stressful family dinner.
So i guess i should give it another week before calling my doctor?
