Can a lack of compassionate physical intimacy lead to madness in adults?

We seem to see that:

Uncompassionate physical intimacy in the cases of rape and incest also result in psychosis.

Substitutes in the form of massage are unsatisfactory long term as it is not heartfelt.

Marriages that are sexless break down into divorce.

Self love alone is inadequate

I think there needs to be a minimum level required to sustain sanity.

Modified to remove priests.

It's individual. Not everyone needs sex or random sex to be happy or mentally healthy.

Your priests being pedos is the consequence of cultural eff ups not pushing hard against those who abuse children.

Many monks never abuse.

As humans yes we need physical touch, i believe there have even been many studies on this.

As for the priest, that part is bullshit. Just because someone lacks physical touch doesn’t mean they will become a pedophile.

Until I see some real research, my impression that it's pedos who become priests, not priests becoming pedos, not just denial of physical intimacy leading holy people to do horrible things like that.

I agree with a lot of your statement, if I were to edit I would suggest leaving the part out Catholicism and pedophilia. Correlation and causation are two different things and I don't have stats on hand about paedophilia at large in society, versus the priests to really form an opinion.

I don't know how you're looking psychosis to rape, but it's not a sexual crime to begin with it's a crime of oppression, violence and dominance.

Sexless marriages don't necessarily break down in divorce.

No has to ensure self-love. Some choose community, others religious work, others hermitage. Not everyone must share physical intimacy with others.

And what in God's name does this have to do with priests? And unless you're Catholic, I'll accept your comments in the form of a question.

As the saying goes Give the devil it's due. Nature has made each of us for another and not for ourself. Unfortunately we have been cultivated the wrong way to mind ourselves.

The devil within, if not attended regularly, shall not let the god within function normally and causes abnormal behaviour.
This is just fucking depressing lol I don't really agree with everything you're saying
the bible says it is good for a man to have a wife
