The transition period between the empty coffee pot and the uncorking. You know rinse the pot, empty the grounds, wash out the coffee cup. Then walk downstairs to get a bottle, uncork it, let it breathe then pour that first glass. 15 minutes of hell!

@SageWanderer That's where you've gone wrong. I keep my wine on the other side of my kitchen. And, I uncork the bottle before I finish my coffee.

@SW-User I use the basement stairs for exercise. At least that’s what I tell the wife!

What hours are you referring to? I thought it was just a natural progression once I finished my coffee to immediately pour myself a glass of wine.
