My cats are actually very polite.🤷‍♂️😆 They usually just lay on me while I sleep, until about 5am when one of them will wake me for breakfast. Although, I have on occasion woke up cuddling a dead rabbit.
@UnderLockDown they do bring tasty treats for those they love.

I think Blackie wants to give me something...

@PatKirby love it when they bring treats. We had a cat who looked a lot like Blackie. He was sentimental and left us squirrels on the porch for Thanksgiving and Christmas 🤣

Plenty of squirrels on the property here (near gulf of MX) with lotsa small wildlife these critters never go hungry, thus the gift. This critter's earned his cup in my house.

@PatKirby Without the feral cats my area would be over run with rabbits and rodents. They definitely earn their place.👍

Just the other night by the river a block down from my house I saw at least a dozen raccoons upright begging for scraps from families parked curbside. Two hefty hogs were grazing in the park right across the street.
@PatKirby Those wild hogs are dangerous! Glad they don't roam around here.

Here's that bad boy, right next to a yard sign across our elementary school next door.

River is right behind the foliage. Wildlife gathers because parents want to show animals to their kids by feeding them (even though signs nearby saying do not feed). We also got armadillos, opossums, etc...how many raccoons can you count in this pic...

Talk about a tasty treat right behind this buzzard a couple of blocks away from my house.

Looking for tasty treats.

Fact is we're slowly encroaching on their traditional territory and now they're not afraid of humans as they hunt for prey. They know where there's humans, there's food. Day or night.
@PatKirby 😆15 raccoons? We have droves of coyotes, you can hear them singing every night, and they walk through the middle of the neighborhoods.
