Anyone take Lasix?

My sister is diabetic and her sugars are very insulin sensitive. So any new medicine, she's always wondering if they'll lower her sugars too much.
She has puffy feet due to neuropathy so they've prescribed Lasix.
Any info on it, or if it possibly lower sugar?
She's not sure how long to take it either..

I used to, at least every other day, getting rid of the excess flyid should help with her neuropathy, HOWEVER, and I say this in ALL SERIOUSNESS, it drastically lowers potassium and other electrolytes, get her to eat at least two bananas a day, medium ripeness, along with orange juice, and get the large gatorade powder mix can at walmart, at least one quart a day...

@NativePortlander1970 I have to thank you for your suggestion recently for her to GO on a diuretic. While she did get seen for edema last week at urgent care, if she didn't bring up the med she wonders if they would've. 😕
Yes it says on label to maintain potassium in diet, thank friend 🌻 I highly doubt it affects blood sugar however.

@Coralmist Also, before I forget, the kidneys work with sodium to pull water out of the blood to help filter, I used to kickstart lasix with sodium bicarbonate water, 2.5 teaspoons of baking soda in a half liter bottle of water from one of those purified 24 packs from the store, maybe three ounces of that is enough to help enhance the lasix and make it more effective, little tricks I learned over the years.

@NativePortlander1970 I appreciate that info..ty!
@Coralmist (((((HUGS))))) You're so very welcome, funnels will become your friend to get the gatorade and baking soda into the bottles. Also, the powder mix comes in four flavors, orange, lemon lime, fruit punch, and glacier freeze, half and half orange and glacier freeze makes an AWESOME hard to define flavor :)

@NativePortlander1970 Luckily she drinks at least one glass Propel each day but will look into increasing her electrolytes if needed.
@Coralmist I call propel gatorade light, but if she feels light headed, hit the pedialyte, it's stronger than gatorade.

@NativePortlander1970 unfortunately she can't drink regular OJ , too high sugar, but light OJ in a small glass is ok..ty again ✨
@Coralmist (((((GUGS))))) You're so very welcome 😊🤗❤
@Coralmist Honestly, that's a major reason why I hate most docs so much, they don't do their jobs right, but at least I got one fired recently for dropping the ball on me, bad, a very long story why.
