Anyone take Lasix?

My sister is diabetic and her sugars are very insulin sensitive. So any new medicine, she's always wondering if they'll lower her sugars too much.
She has puffy feet due to neuropathy so they've prescribed Lasix.
Any info on it, or if it possibly lower sugar?
She's not sure how long to take it either..

Lasix is possibly given to her to reduce swelling in her feet. It will induce frequent urination. So should ensure she should have enough salts and fluid in her body. Excessive urination can make her feel weak, in that case she should stop or reduce the dosage(like taking half of tablet).

Eat a clean organic diet, take Celtic sea salt.

Medication isn’t a cure, it just maintains your sickness.

@NativePortlander1970 No worries, some people would have no idea what lasix is. I mostly know because I've had dogs on it.

It's one of the oldest water pills
I used to, at least every other day, getting rid of the excess flyid should help with her neuropathy, HOWEVER, and I say this in ALL SERIOUSNESS, it drastically lowers potassium and other electrolytes, get her to eat at least two bananas a day, medium ripeness, along with orange juice, and get the large gatorade powder mix can at walmart, at least one quart a day...

@NativePortlander1970 unfortunately she can't drink regular OJ , too high sugar, but light OJ in a small glass is ok..ty again ✨
@Coralmist (((((GUGS))))) You're so very welcome 😊🤗❤
@Coralmist Honestly, that's a major reason why I hate most docs so much, they don't do their jobs right, but at least I got one fired recently for dropping the ball on me, bad, a very long story why.

Is that like Viagra !!

@ShenaniganFoodie Noooooo lol. It's a diuretic to minimize fluid buildup in her feet.
