If you take medicine when you're not sick, it will make you sick? 🤔

Or was this just a scare tactic i was told as a kid to not take medicine i dont need

It depends on the type of meds. A painkiller wouldn't make much of a difference if you're not in pain, but something to lower your blood pressure when it is at a good level may make it too low for example.
@NerdyPotato so if i drink pepto bismol daily and casually will i have a super stomach and not get tummy aches anymore?

The risks of salicylism:
The classic symptoms are ringing in the ears, nausea, abdominal pain, and a fast breathing rate. Early on, these may be subtle, while larger doses may result in fever. Complications can include swelling of the brain or lungs, seizures, low blood sugar, or cardiac arrest.
