Once, as I was teaching a Calculus class before an impending exam, I put a problem on the board involving "the limit as x approaches 8". The answer was infinity.
On the exam, I had a similar problem involving "the limit as x approaches 5.'
@DrWatson Yeah, just algebra (elementary) and basic math and statistics if you consider that math. Calc 2 is the most advanced math course I taught. I usually teach physics.
