What’s 5 3/8% in decimal form?

I’m doing a math problem and I tried looking it up and I did. Put the answer in and it’s wrong.

.05375 if I’m interpreting the ask correctly.

First find what 3/8 is in decimal form, then add 5 to it. You will get 5.375%.

Then convert the percentage to decimal form by dividing that number by 100

5.375

3/8=3x0.125=0.375

(5)3/8=5.375.

1/4=0.25

1/4 is a quarter and a money quarter are 25 cents.

1/8=0.125

1/8 is a half of 1/4 so half of a quarter for 1/4

And 5.375 is the answer.

1/4 = .25

So 1/8 is half as much: .125

So 3/8 = 3 x .125 = .375

And 5 3/8 = 5.375

375.5% if you multiply by 100.
