What’s 5 3/8% in decimal form?

I’m doing a math problem and I tried looking it up and I did. Put the answer in and it’s wrong.

1/4 = .25

So 1/8 is half as much: .125

So 3/8 = 3 x .125 = .375

And 5 3/8 = 5.375
