Yeah, that's a good point. It's not like you're wearing makeup because you want people to think you're something you're not. It's just fun to do different designs and stuff like that. And it helps a TON when you work under a spotlight like I do.

I don't think that's how they see it. They use the word "advertisement" in a metaphorical sense and not a litterally applicable way. I seriously doubt they're dumb enough to view human beings as a product they can just go and buy. Well, some do, and some girls act like one, but that's besides the point. My point is I don't think most of them use that word with that intent.
