As friends go I have far more today at 60 than, say, 40 years prior. Life has blessed me with an abundance of great people who I call dear friends.
As for lovers, honestly there have been quite a few over the years. While not as many as with friends, I have had more lovers - during much of 37 years of marriage - than I ever would have imagined. Just being myself, especially in corners of the internet where so many are not, served me better than it should have. The choices I made from there that turned chance encounters into lovers I own

i have one husband who's always there for me.. i guess we are friends .. i have one friend online whom i've known since we were 6-7 years old.. irl till my family moved when i was 12... i'm not really close with many people because i'm super poor and mostly a homebody hermit type .. as far as sexual lovers go i cant even say because i was notorious but i'm trying to reform .. i loved a lot of people tho or tried.. 😒 not everyone of course .. i still love people.. i'm just not involved and i aim to be less involved tho more involved in platonic pursuits of virtue if possible in the future

I have been lucky to have a lot of true friends and only one lover. My wife also has a lot of true friends, and the number of lovers is classified.
