I think some people definitely find someone that they want to be with and they put the work in to keep their love alive. But are they meant to be? Destined? Maybe, maybe they're just lucky. I sure haven't met mine and find it improbable that it exists for me.
After being single at a certain age, you start to understand it's not a dream. A lot of people suck and you're lucky if you can even find a friend.
I think a lucky few find someone that, at that given time, seem made for each other. But we all constantly change, and it’s work to change together. If we don’t put forth that effort, we will drift apart over time. I think soulmates are an illusion as you put it.
It's a ridiculous ideal that someone trumped up because it sounds "romantic".
Even if you do follow spirituality - you have to admit that your vibration is constantly changing and shifting... and the people that you attract to yourself are ebbing and flowing, too.
How can you really expect one person to remain constantly at the same vibration level as you are emitting when you don't remain static from day to day.
@HootyTheNightOwl I definitely agree that people don’t remain constant because that will go against our nature as humans to evolve but I always thought the idea of soulmate is that you find “your person” that your “soul” was longing for and that you’re willing to go through the ebbs n flow in life with not that you necessarily stay constant. But thanks for sharing your thoughts.
The person that your soul knows and is inclined to have that soul conversation is your soulmate. You can only see it through the eyes of your soul . They are for real and it is the only place place your can rest there is no deciet.
@AliceinWonderland don't mind Alice but it's bullshit because it is God who arranged soulmates and it is destiny that brings together there no dead soulmates.if you have a soul mate you better find him because he out there somewhere alive and kicking.
