Should I call my ex back?

I recently called my ex from the hospital and he blocked me. So I was browsing his facebook and he put a moving post about how we alll need to love each other. It really pulls at my heart strings but I've already been blocked by him and I don't want to get charged with harassment, although it is worth the risk to talk to him, I just don't know.
