Do you miss anyone from the past?

@SW-User Once the initial shock passes, it is no different than the coping I had as a child when we would have to travel across an ocean thousands of miles to visit grandparents and immediate relatives. The visits were never long enough and parting was always sad, then there were long periods of separation up to a year or two before the next visit. Grandparents died in the separation and it was accepting that it was just going to be longer until we would see them again. It is no different for Jess and one day I will catch up to her passing myself but that day like the subsequent trips to see family will happen at an unknown date so I don't worry but look forward to the next time. There are plenty of others who like Jess are just as in need of me as a trusted friend and every so often things click and a new personal relationship is kindled. I am happy to say I learned a lot from Jess including how to be authentic on an anonymous site to be able to establish new beginnings and build strong ties with many and some are the few who I now have as very special people in my life and as they say, me in their lives.
