@beermeplease Hmm, here is how I look at it -
People do disagree about things. I think that is to be expected. The ones we should at least try to keep around are those who agree in things most important to us.
You are always civil in your posts so any disagreements are not your fault.
I know sometimes you express concern when someone blocks or is rude, but just know that it is probably not your fault. One can be only so polite.

@beermeplease Well ya know, fighting online is kind of entertaining. Everyone gets to vent some frustration yet no one gets hurt. Most bickering is about politics (guilty here)
Can you imagine at a bar, if it were the R/L version of SW political chats? Chairs and bottles flying, screaming, hollering, cussing, just F*CKING CHAOS! 😄

Being blocked by native hurts almost as bad as being blocked by a telemarketer. 😄
Funny thing is - he blocks most of us regulars, yet no one is sure why he has such a stick up his 4ss. I have heard that in real life, he is going through a great struggle, may not be around long but in that situation, wouldn't someone want a few friends, even if but online?
Ya know it is funny that some people think they are "Getting even" by blocking, but often times they are doing us a favor.
Usually when I am blocked, I think, "Oh thank goodness, I do not have to hear their BS anymore."
That was how I felt when some MAGAt called "Prison 1203" blocked me over a disagreement.
OKAY I made a vile joke but I guess he didn;t like it.

@Tumbleweed I do not know what happened obviously. I have heard he does not like people insulting Lil, so that might have been it if someone speaks ill of Lil, then again I do not know.

Native and I were regular penpals on this site for a very long time, though I really don't know why. He's not the type of person who I'd typically gravitate to for debate of any kind, but I think when I realized that he never really had anyone to talk to at home is when I made the exception and would chat with him on here every night for about half an hour.
If I gave my opinion about some aspect of his life, he'd block me then unblock me a month later. Right now, I don't think I'm blocked from his life because I've seen his posts around, though I have no further interest in engaging with him on any level because there's nothing anyone can do for a guy like him. You have to just cut him loose and let him drift away.

@swirlie I never had any argument or anything with him. The last time we talked was just a few days ago on a post about movies, we were fine. Now all of a sudden I'm blocked. I've heard he has some things going on but we never got into any discussions about it. I wish him him well...

His personal situation is not stellar, to say the least. I think if you ever chat with him, take it for what it is and keep it light, but then let it go and don't chase after it.
Just know that his blocks are more about his need to hide from life than his need to not hear from you.

Let me get this straight now, HoseBag... you say that "All those same people except dunning" have blocked you and therefore, they are to blame because those same people are typically quick to block everyone. Almost makes sense.
Then you go on to say that I blocked you too, but it had nothing to do with you because you've deduced that I only block because I'm unstable, which could only mean I block a lot but only happens when I'm argumentative, which basically means I'm toxic according to your personal assessment, yet none of what anyone says on SW about you has anything whatsoever to do with the fact that you constantly present yourself as a total assswhole every time you post. I get that. I envy that! It must be wonderful to be you!
I understand that your inherent toxicity has nothing at all to do with you because after all, you probably inherited those toxic genes from your own mother whom you undoubtedly look like, but instead has everything to do with everyone else's social dysfunction and certainly not your's. Brilliant. Who writes your work for you?
