He never came to visit me. You are right - they play with your feelings and later they will blame it all on you. Another manipulative tactic of his was "well at least I'm showing an interest. How many people ask you these things about you." @SW-User Ooh and his good morning texts. "Well at least it's the thought that counts". Lol. He claims to put others before himself but at the end of the day it was ALL ABOUT HIM.

@solitaire unfortunate .. and the problem with such experiences is that it makes one lose trust on any future prospects too... But as in the write-up one should learn to ask and know and not just blindly believe what is said .. and would have helped you if you had taken all of his promises on the lighter side and said .. let's cross the bridge when we come to it ..

I am really sorry you are going through this. It can be hard to see through the lies when they are saying everything you want and need to hear. I know you wanted closure but I don’t think you are going to get it.
