đź’” My Heart Has Reached Its Limit

I🌹 think this might be my last post… at least for a while.
There comes a time when your soul just can’t take any more disappointment — when you realize you’ve been holding on to people who were never really holding on to you.

To you — the man who made me believe again…
You came into my life when I was at my lowest, when I had nothing left to give and nothing left to believe in. You made me feel seen, special, alive again — and I held onto every word you said because, for once, it felt real. I trusted you with pieces of my heart I thought were too broken to matter.

But then you turned cold — and your silence cut deeper than any harsh word ever could. You left me questioning everything… wondering what I did wrong! You didn’t just walk away — you ripped away the tiny bit of hope I had left. And that kind of pain doesn’t just fade… it lingers. It makes you afraid to ever believe again.

And to everyone who’s walked this journey with me, who’s comforted me through my storms — thank you. You’ve been my safe space when everything around me fell apart. I’m not leaving in anger, just in exhaustion.

I need to breathe again. To remember who I was before all the hurt.
To find the kind of peace that doesn’t depend on anyone’s words, promises, or presence.🌹

Here is a little something I wrote years ago that helped me move on after feeling overwhelmed. Maybe you cant relate to it but I thought Id share just in case.

The Journey

The dawn breaks and you're alone
Now must accept your lifes truth
The forks in the road that led
to here
Were not the ones to choose

Adrift at sea
You challenged the tide
Ship now sunken
Must swallow your pride

The face you show
and the smiles you wear
Hide the feelings within
You dare not share

Tormented mind
Wondering why
So much to give
Yet fail each time

Can't place the blame
Accept your faults
This once chosen path
Now left alone to walk

Decision is now made
No more looking back
Many miles were travelled
On the wrong set of tracks

Light is shining ahead
Where this tunnel soon ends
Your lonely journey is over
Now your best begins….
