I know for a fact that someone else can not fix you I had the most amazing woman in the world who tried to fix me and I only broke her and I am a fool for not taking care of my problems and being a coward because I didn't go and face my problems I had to man up and I finally went and got the help I needed and it was the best thing I ever have done I am and can be happy for once but I am missing that woman ever second of every day because I didn't go get help and I didn't see who and what I had right in front of me do let it be to late people because you will regret it.

Great question, and my answer is no not if they do not want to be fixed or to change. The broken person has to want to do this for themselves before it will ever work.

No, but turning away from them is the wrong thing to do, Empathy and honesty go a long way in helping them sort out their issues.

Best we can do is let them lean on you when they need it. But only if they’re really trying.
