When you were young, did you have an expectation of how love would be when you got older

I did even when I was like 10-11 years old. Then even when I was around 22-23. Now I'm 49 and my 2 major love situations wasn't what I expected them to be or how the situation would go either

Yes and none of it was positive. My standards are probably too high now because I've never been in love with anyone I've dated. Hell I've loved my friends more lol

Probably because I didn't know what love was supposed to look like when I was younger....I learned eventually

When I was young I wanted to be Han Solo.
Love wasn't something I thought about, it was something written on greeting cards.
