Have you found, or do you think you will find, your 'one true love'? Is there a limit to how many times you'll keep trying?

I thought I had twice. But each time it went to shit and it taught me that I'm so inexperienced in the adult relationship domain that genuine 'true love' seems to be like unicorns - non existent.

If you found who you believe to be your one true love on the first attempt, that's so amazing and wonderful? How long have you been together to 'know' for sure?

If like most you make multiple attempts, how many times have you tried to date and find that magical unicorn partner? Is there a point where you'll call it quits and stop trying?

I'm in that zone but not fully commited as I'd like to think it might still be possible despite being an officially mature 50+ single adult bloke man.

I honestly believe I already met my soulmate, my husband who died last year and I don't think I will ever meet a man who could ever come close to how brilliant he was and perfect for me that he was. I hope so, God willing, but I can't see it happening in the near future.
