@bijouxbroussard HIV/AIDS took a lot of very creative, wonderful people. I unfortunately had to care for many Clinically, a few personally. Those were awful times.

@samueltyler2 I lost about ten very dear friends. One who was much younger than me came out and was disowned by his family. My mother welcomed him into our home and he stayed with us until he finished high school. Years later, she was the one he reached out to when he was sick. Mom tried to get his mother to go see him, but she wouldn’t. 😩

@bijouxbroussard so sad. We lost a generation of very talented creative people. That isnt to the others were not a tragic loss.
