Finding and maintaining even a normal 'twosome' relationship is hard. I've given up trying. 8-)
I've chatted to women who say they have poly connections but I can't see how it works. It's like they have a day with one person, a day with another person, but there aren't any threesomes or moresomes.
I'm reading The Wheel of Consent book by Betty Martin to try and understand my own sexuality more (currently I feel everything I know about mine is a furphy).

@zonavar68 Not all people in a poly need to be sexually active partners. Some are just romantic partners, some are are there for the familial love and closeness.
Poly's are all uniquely different.

I think its the nature of these situatuonships.
Unless you are part of the core pair of a group, its more a flow than a forever 🤷♀
Which is a bummer coz it has the potential to be a great functioning family unit in these harder times.

@OogieBoogie It always seems to be a couple going with a third (usually a woman). Couples almost never go with a man for the third to have a poly connection unless he's rich with a big duck, etc.

@zonavar68 the poly's ive known have been more that that, (4 and 7).
I wasn't in them - freinds were.
But they were really dynamic, there was always some stress from someone going on.
Seemed exhausting to me.
A duo relationship is hard enough without more.
I think people need to have a hi EQ for them to work.

@OogieBoogie unfortunately yes many poly groups are flow and don't last. Our polycule is great but we found our people and remain closed now. And omg yes!!!! Unicorn hunters are the WORST!
