I bought my wife Mexican food for Cinco de Mayo

I was just recalling how her and I used to celebrate it every year. She’s Mexican herself and would tell me how Mexicans don’t really care about Cinco de Mayo and just see it as an excuse for people to party, but acknowledged that it’s good for Mexican businesses. Her and I would certainly use it an excuse to eat Mexican food and drink margaritas, lol. It made me sad how her and I are so estranged from each other now and barely spend time together anymore. Desmond and I went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant and after thinking about everything I just mentioned, I went and got something for my wife too. Carne asada tacos, which were always her favorite. She was surprised when I showed up to our house and gave her the food, but she seemed touched by it as well. It was nice to see her be sweet again. Too bad it has to take me doing a gesture like that to get it out of her, but whatever. She’s going to be leaving for California again this week, so if I don’t see her again before she goes, I’m glad her and I could part on good terms. Even though I spend most of my days with Desmond, let it never be said that I’m not still in love with her too.
