He was really aggressive but he never was during our relationship so it freaked me out. I started crying :/

Was with an abusive narcissist whom I had formed a trauma bond to. The unraveling and demise of our fling/situationship whatever it can be called took years of hurt, blame and confusion.
It took a good therapist to help me see the relationship for what it was [and wasn't] and to help me heal after I went no contact with the guy.

I never had a breakup. My wife says her worst was with one of her fwb's in college. He really wanted a romantic relationship with her, but she told him repeatedly that she loved only me. Finally, she just had to tell him that they needed to stop being together at all so he could find someone else. He cried, which made her cry.

My daughters bio dad. He was an alcoholic and would disappear for days. I had enough of that treatment so I took my daughter and left.
It hurt like hell but later married a man who helped me raise her.
Never saw him again and found out he died homeless on the streets.
Im so glad its a faded memory because I went thru hell with him!

The most painful was the first love. I believed in him utterly, trusted him completely, loved him with a purity I can see now no human could fail to taint. There was no way I could have avoided such a harsh introduction to reality. 🤷♀

It’s a tie with two, but last one was after I caught my ex cheating (or trying to cheat), and he wouldn’t accept the break up. He sent people to my house, sent me messages about what I was doing, stalked me, threatened me. I blocked him everywhere so he sent me emails. Hacked my Google account, fb, insta.. went back and forth arguing for years 😅
I was young and naive. Let a woman take advantage of me, she regularly cheated and later on I realized she was extremely mentally abusive. She was 12 years my senior and knew exactly what she was doing.
Thankful though. She taught me how to really pay attention to the details.

I was 18 and he was 17. We'd been together about six months. We were both pretty toxic and manipulative in all honesty. I'd cheated on him once but we forgave each other. A while later, I threatened to do it again if he didn't start treating me better. He said that if I cheated on him again, he'd kill himself. I stormed out. I went to his best friend's house. We slept together, and I sent my bf a snapchat of his friend inside me. Had to turn my phone off cos he kept trying to call me and it was ruining the mood. The next day, I got a call from his dad saying that he'd hung himself overnight. It was heartbreaking at first but me and his best friend were there for each other and ended up getting together and even seeing the funny side of the situation

When the woman I thought I would marry and live happily-ever-after-with dumped me for my best friend. That was 50 years ago and I never got over it. Still single. Can't trust anyone.

Never was fortunate enough to have a breakup, but I am thinking of someone who just gave me the time of day. It was the most I ever had though, so it being gone was the worst I ever felt.

The break up of my first love. I didn't know what to expect.
You always remember your first love and it always the most painful. At least it was for me.
I was 18/19

This most recent. I'm a little heartbroken, but I know it will pass. We weren't good together.
I took every relationship I was in seriously. I was always 💯 dedicated and committed,... so they were all upsetting . 😏

@Magenta That's why I'm so "ornery". 😂😋
@Magenta And by the way, what I said is 100% true. Thank You. 🙂

@SmileOnYourBrother My pleasure. It seems so rare in this modern, fling-situationship-hookup society.

The relationship I was in throughout high school that I had moved back to Canada for. It melted down pretty spectacularly.

One was killed in a car wreck. That was a pretty rough way to end a relationship.
