@EarthlingWise Which is why you’ll notice I didn’t use the term "sterilization". But they didn’t have a choice, and they often weren’t told that was happening. If it was also required of the Ashkenazis when they arrive, then okay.
But I haven’t been seeing where it is. The Beta Israel also speak of having to "prove" their "Jewishness" in ways that those of European descent do not. They faced antisemitism in their homeland for being Jewish, and then faced racism in Israel for being black.

Scratch that for now. Who are "they?" If you mean Ethiopian Jews, then yes, they were discriminated against in Ethiopia, but do you have any idea how Ethiopian Jews are treated in Israel? I've observed it, but here's what Pew said is 2016: https://www.pewresearch.org/religion/2016/03/08/anti-semitism-and-discrimination/ and the situation only got much worse as more Orthodox North American Jews arrive in Israel.
And overall, Arab countries are racist to their core. In some Arab counties, the term for a black person is "Abed" meaning slave. Is this the bar that should be set? This is really mind boggling.
It's one thing for someone to offer a woman contraception, and another to illicitly include it in their diet, and have a secret program to hide it. Well, it's all in the open now.
