Why are some people afraid of love?

I mean if that person really really likes you, and you may like that person back, go for it. If you don’t let someone in your heart, you might miss out on a great person!! You gotta trust someone sometimes. I mean you can’t trust everyone. Stop being afraid of love. Get out of your comfort zone for crying out loud!
You gotta be uncomfortable sometimes.

And if they give themselves, they give themselves wholeheartedly. And they fear that they may be loving someone who doesn't have love in their heart back .-.
