@OneDayMore My parents did not approve of my choice of boyfriend though. They didn't see him as the young man who literally did almost anything for me. No, they thought of him just trying to take advantage of me. Especially when I spent £100 on a bunch of new video games for his birthday.

Parents can be real douchebags right! @AirForce687. My mum never liked my wife. Been married 12years and my mum still tries to upset her.

@OneDayMore They even took offence at him washing my face for me before he took me out on a date, a task which i find quite difficult to do myself due to it being part of my disability...

@AirForce687 that’s just insane that they would take umbrage with that. Parents are stupid. I’m sorry you had to experience that.
