Is it possible to be addicted to a person?

Oh, absolutely. Although I've found that's more of an addiction to who you think that person is, or want that person to be.

@Darksideinthenight2 Thinking about it, I am addicted to the presence of my family in my life, in a way. I even get physically sick when I am away from them. Kinda like being homesick.

Oh yes. You know you’re in that stage when during the day, you can’t think right or act properly until you’ve seen or talked to them.

Yes, especially with abuse one can form what's called a trauma bond where you can be trapped in feedback loops that look similar to addition in the brain.

Sure. It's called emotional dependence and it usually doesn't end well.

{@jane4] suppose it can and you have to be careful as it can become a dangerous obsession that can take you over .

Very much so, it can be very consuming
I think so. Look at all these women staying with men whipping their butts. That’s something I sure don’t understand.
