I just remembered something...weird

Back then grown ass men used to tell me how beautiful i am and how they'll kidnap and marry me.
I heard this since i was 4 from multiple men my parents knew.And of course it was a compliment back then.
I wonder if it really was a weird compliment at the time or it was self reportng🫣

I agree that it is completely inappropriate given your age at the time.

Unfortunately, in general, it is often the price a woman pays for her beauty. Which is worse -- unwanted attention or to be ignored and invisible?
