I was 6 months old laying. in the back of the car staring out at the sky with my brother occasionally looking over and talking to me. I weswrapped in this scratchy crotched blanket, black, blue and purple yarn that I enjoyed chewing on because the texture was scratchy..and it would get wet but tis like the wetness rubbed off the material rather than being absorbed. We were on our way to my uncles house, 45 minutes away and when we got there he smiled and cooed at me. I thought he was sweet, but he scared me a little because I didnt see him much and he was new but, not new...

@Allelse there was one from when I was l little older, sitting outside under a tree.. they have little orange berries, and I wanted them sooooo bad. but my brother would tell me, no no, you cant eat those. And I sat there, deciding he was wrong and I was going to have them.... but need did. I think I fell asleep in the grass.

@nonsensiclesnail I have another one where a cicada landed on my jumper and started climbing up my jumper, he was a Black Prince cicada with beautiful red eyes. And I remember being so curious but also a bit freaked up and when he went walkies, then later he flew off.

I have a memory, when I was a bit older, probably 4 or 5.. of seeing a firefly in my backyard. I didnt live in an area that has such things. Ive only recently considered that maybe this was jsut a dream.
I dont know if it was he same day as the one under the berry tree, or a different day. I was on the front steps of out tiny house, fell asleep on our front steps ( I assume, given what I'm going to say next) and Jimminy Cricket hopped up and had a conversation with me. I swear that was real too...my adult brain tells me thats wrong.

@nonsensiclesnail I'm pretty sure that's where my love for cicadas came from, I still love their great big eyes and cute faces. It's the only part of summer I love, going off track and snooping about the bush to watch the cicadas buzzing about.
You never know, I mean critters get about and sometimes turn up in all kinds of places.
Hahahahaha!!! Sounds like you also have very vivid dreams, I have them too. One the earliest dreams that I can remember having is drowning, but seeing myself on a big rock on the shore waving to myself.

@Allelse How very odd!! Maybe you were trying to tell yourself in teh dream it was going to be ok? since, you know, it was a dream.
