i have no support system, is it understandable for me to feel jealous of people with big support systems

my only support system are my elderly parents who live far away, i live a very isolated solitary existence...so when i see those who have lots of friends and those who know lots of people and have partners, girlfriends, friends etc...i feel a deep jealousy.

is this understandable?

Understandable. However you have to be a friend if you want friends. And you have to find a way to get out and meet people. Gaming, karaoke, sports, local clubs for your interests?

@PeachyK thankyou for answering, i have a support worker now who takes me out, hopefully we'll find some groups to attend, i'll keep trying.

I don't think it's bad you are jealous so long as you don't allow that jealousy to eat away at you and become bitterness. I'm sorry you don't have anyone to be honest I feel pretty alone most of the time myself so I understand. Hopefully you can find a friend to help you with this. Good luck 🍀

Very understandable. I have zero supportive family or friends. It's always hard to see others who have that and take it for granted.

Yes ,like the other response it grinds on me seeing people that have family and all they do is complain about them .some are people i work with they go home to their families, i go home to my dog ,but i thank god for him being there
