Do you ever feel like your presence in others lives is diminished by a screen?

Like we can sit next to each other and never take our focus off our devices. We may need someone to talk to or cuddle, but they'd rather be absorbed in the tube.

It was one of the many things I hated about my ex. He would ask if I wanted to watch something with him, then sit there looking at his phone. It got so bad at the end that he couldn't even hear me talking to him.

@Kuronekko that's how my son's dad is. He will ignore the boy all day long to play on his phone and let our son play video games literally all day. If I say anything he acts hurt 🙄
