Do you force yourself to feel grateful? Is it even possible? How about burying arrogance?

It’s so easy to be grateful. Every day I come up with several things to be grateful for first thing in the morning

when my kids were young I used to make them do a gratitude journal every day after dinner where they would write at least three things they were grateful for every single day

I think gratitude is so important for our own spiritual and mental well-being. the more that we are grateful for, The more out of our own head we become. It is proven that gratitude lists/journals actually really help people who suffer from depression to improve
