Sh*t like this is why I always feel like my bf is settling for me
Let's be real- when most people see a couple that consists of one really good looking person and one below average, they automatically think the hot one is settling.
Is it right? Maybe not. But this is the world we live in.
There needs to stop being such a focus on apperance. Long term relationships that are successful and fulfilling are based on a deeper connection that went beyond what anyone looks like physically.
No. It's not right. Not in any way. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist. But it appears to me that what it speaks to is shallow people, looking in from the outside, applying their own superficial tendencies to others. The skin deep people might find each other but the big odds are they will never have the type of positive relationship that those who look beyond the physical have.
Does he settle for lots of things in life? I mean, he's made a choice to be with you. We all have choices. He obviously recognizes qualities that you possess that stand out.
