i legit feel like i have to study just to earn any respect or freedom in this household like i cant even sleep if i dont finish a long essay writing my parents give on a school night and usually only left with a few hours of sleep. Or when like celebrations, they would always say" today do homework then u can celebrate or else u stay at home" [sep]

Legitimately, having parents who are fixated on your studies and homework is better than parents who completely neglect them. But I also know that sucks and is probably driving you crazy. I hope they recognize you're doing your best and give you a damn break once in a while.
