If I feel lonely most of the time and chat up with strangers here inspite of my current situation

You're allowed to have friends and can still respect your relationship. You'll know if you're talking about something inappropriate or feel a need to hid things from your partner. Those would not be respectful behaviors.

You should also be openly, calmly and candidly discussing your loneliness with your partner.
