how do you combat depression sometimes

sometimes i get depression, alone here in my little apartment...and it's like falling into a dark pit, it's a nightmare really.

i think my depression is mostly circumstantial, ie- living alone, never having found a support system or relationships, in my mid 40s with only my elderly parents for support, who live far away.....so there's times i get lost in my own head and fall into darkness.

i try to get out to the swimming baths a couple of times a week to keep up my fitness, but sometimes i don't make 2 times a week, because i struggle to make the effort...i have a personality disorder and severe social anxiety too, paranoia too...i feel a little disheartened at the mo, because ive put on a bit of weight again, after successfully losing stones years back....i needed to because i acquired diabetes type 2.

so as you can see, my depression is understandable and a lot due to 'circumstances'.

Recently I started overdoing on B6
This is why

"High-dose Vitamin B6 supplementation reduces anxiety and strengthens visual surround suppression"

But I take it only 4 days a week. Does the trick.
