I'm wearing a mask, I'm staying home, I'm going out only for necessities. But I'm retired. I don't have young children. I don't work. It's fairly easy for me.
However - it is not GOING to go away. Even if experts are right and there are 100 times more cases than are reported, that still means only 2/3 of the US has it or has had it. And they are still not sure about immunity if you've had it. Immunity may last only weeks or months. So there is zero assurance that you can't get it more than once.
The only thing that is even plausible is to do what you have to do, do it carefully and reduce your risk.
Political leadership will not, cannot, fix this. They'd have to post health cops at every house and apartment door. We have to be responsible for ourselves.

@Mamapolo2016 I disagree that you can't lick covid. Look at NY, at European countries. They all but eliminated it. They are delaying until a vaccine can be administered.
