Does anyone know anything about self publishing a book?

My niece wants to make a cook book. She has a binder full of recipes she’s been perfecting over the years and little drawings that go with them. I think it’s a great idea but I’m not sure where to even start or how to lead her in the right direction.

It takes a bit of work and don’t expect it to be a best seller but it just takes effort. Whatever you do, do not trust an agency who says they will self publish for you and avoid asking on fb because all you’ll get are scammers. The hardest part of self publishing making sure it’s available. There’s quite a few books that give you a step by step process on how to do it too.

@SwampFlower well there’s no one single book on it. It also depends on whether you plan to publish an actual book or just ebooks. Most of them are all the same anyways since the subjects the same.
