I Want You To Write A Seven Word Story

i prefer the larger wedges of breaded haddock or white fish , i found a piece of wax cardboard in a fish stick once

I used to buy them in the 70's...got a different brand one time and no joke they were like chewing on sponges, tasted like fish though. I took the breading off of one that wasn't cooked, and it looked like a sponge, rinsed it out under the sink and squeezed the water out...couldn't tell the difference between it and a slice of a sponge, like a piece of makeup sponge (tiny holes)...

Eww...these fish finger-related horror stories are killing my appetite for them 😢

I tend to be none too keen on salmon. That said, I went on a work-related course that was held in a food centre about two years ago, and during lunch they served a buffet. That included some smoked salmon, and since I wasn't tempted by what they had to offer I tried it, not really expecting to like it. Turns out it was the best tasting salmon I have tried to date!

Well I am thinking this is the type of fake foods that come from China, but this was way back in the 70's when wild fish were a lot more plentiful and cheap to begin with. I can imagine the same thing happening today with imported foods.

I like grilled salmon with dill sauce
