It’s funny how people insult nudity like it’s perverse…

@BrokenAbyss nothing wrong with nudity behind closed doors or in certain public areas like nudist beaches or whatever.
majority of people dont want to see naked people walking around everywhere though because it aint beautiful like you claimed, and as a parent, I sure as hell would not want a bunch of naked people around my kid

@BrokenAbyss never claimed my body is perfect but I am also not supporting being naked in public, so take that as you will.
I just think when people make these kinds of arguments, they are only thinking of themselves and what they want instead of society in whole.
Majority of people dont want to be exposed like that in public and sure as hell dont want to see others exposed

My Mom was an artist, I grew up seeing nude paintings and sculptures and it wasn’t a big deal. Botticelli and his chubby queens. I think our bodies are beautiful.

I’m fully aware people engage in raunch and I think it hits something in them because we have shamed nudity and each other’s bodies for generations.

I wonder if the African tribes who don’t care about nudity have the same social issues as we do? Or the Native Americans and indigenous people across the planet who weren’t in a Christian based society.

@BrokenAbyss Our bodies should never be shamed, they were made wonderfully, but public nudity is not acceptable. For example, look at almost any thread on here, nudity and the discussion and sexualizing of is obsessed over. Can you imagine if children walked around naked with a world filled of pedos and molesters, holy crap. In a civilized society there are things that are decent and things that are not for many reasons. Nudity is not, to me.

My point is society got here. To this point of shame that instead of hiding our desires, we publicize them. What if we never had to hide them? Would it be such a big deal now?

And I’m talking about healthy people, not pedophiles. That will always be a different story. Same with rape and the hookup culture, I just feel like we got pushed too far into shame so we come out of it like ravenous pervs forcing our repressed feelings on each other. The boundaries never make sense. Even at my age I could explain I’m looking for a relationship and someone will still use me for sex.

It’s just a thought I was looking for someone to explore with me.

Like withholding food from an animal till it’s starved then it eats so much it’s sick.

If we hadn’t built up the extreme shame and modesty, would it be such a serious issue now?

People don’t understand what arises in them stemming from shame. Who decided nudity was wrong? God?

@BrokenAbyss I'll tell you it's a lot of people and even child molesters, etc.... that make it a problem and big deal.
I don't know nor care where it all started to not run around nude. I only know it's not a good thing in this world... look at all the crap on this site alone.
