It might be pretentious and shallow but when people praise the comedy of Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, or Jim Carrey I kinda judge them.

There are lots of popular comics I’ve never found funny, and those three are among them. I also never found Chris Farley, Sam Kinnison or Dave Chappelle particularly funny either (sacrilege, I know). I don’t judge those who like them, I just acknowledge that our sense of humor is really different. 🤨

@MethDozer Agreed. I liked George Carlin, Bill Hicks and Richard Jeni because I found their humor intelligent. I like Alonzo Bodden now for the same reason.
