I like to journal

Not every day but most days. Usually a brain dump of things I am doing during the day, my thoughts, my emotions. It's especially good if I'm upset or worried about something. I can usually pick apart my thought processes and see what areas I need to work on. I find it a very useful tool.
It's a lost art/journey... I used to use photography this way. Now, at times I write thoughts to photographs I took years ago that act like a journal. Then sometimes I write without, but they are more emotional pieces poetically. Be careful with picking apart your thoughts, some of your feelings are just that, yours.

I also like to journal certain events/situations where I learned a lesson or where I have become more aware of how I should act or anticipate a need of my wife better. It keeps me focused. Thank you for sharing.
