1. Keep your mind open to criticism.
2. Embrace the pain of criticism.
3. See if there is an element of truth in constructive criticism.
4. Rectify it, if there is an element of truth in constructive criticism.
5. If criticism is baseless & serious/abusive,
a) Take required appropriate action against it
b) Move away / deal with it .
c) Sympathies with them / help them come out of it.
d) Take is as your karma cleared up.

@ABCDEF7 warning, if you are under 50 years old, do not try this with a narcisist. It won’t work. Think of the man who does not believe (even accept via family and peer pressure) that he is not president. Don’t mention his names here, but that person is a narcisit and if you entertain him he will convince you that YOU are wrong

Praise in public, criticize behind closed doors. And criticism can be positive too.
