In my experiences and attempts of trying to overcome my shyness of going shirtless, I realized that my dads involvement would have been so so crucial and such a positive motivation.

If you look at the pics posted, different races and sizes af fathers and sons shirtless together and comfortable about it also.

It's makes me wonder if it jus randomly happens or was it motivated. My personal opinion is that the upbringing and atmosphere created plays an important role.

Growing up I was always shy about removing my shirt. My dad and mum never really bothered about it and it wasn't something necessary, although mee seeing other kids and older men doing it created the urge for me.
There were some instances where my dad removed his shirt when watching TV or laying down in bed. Seeing this created an anxiousness in me for wanting to do the same but never happened.
I used to think how cool it would be if he even told me to take my shirt off if I'm feeling hot.

Even when I was home with my mom and I used to see other kids playing in their yard with jus a shorts on and I used to want to do the same.

More it made me think, similar to these pics how was the situation created in other homes:

A) Did the parents or father motivate the son to do it
B) Did the son jus do it and it was fine
C) Did the son ask his parents or father if he can remove his shirt

These are scenarios the played in my mind and since my lifestyle was majority based on be conservative I assume that this was the reason.

I would like to hear any other opinions or stories

I think a lot of boys need that male role model when they're growing up. Whether it's the dad or another authority figure, someone who can motivate or inspire boys to get into the habit of being shirtless can play an important part in their development!
@Ben3579 absolutely bro
To alot of people it may seem like a silly or trivial issue but for those who have the issue know what they are dealing with

It's a shame you rarely if ever see that anymore. I just left the park after walking and jogging barefoot and shirtless!!! Unfortunately, I think alot of guys are ashamed of their bodies.

Growing up it was pretty standard to be shirtless . 🤔
@anoderod55
I would love to have been in that situation
But sometimes it's not encouraged
You sound obsessed with this.

The photos of ppl on the beach going shirtless is unsurprising, right?

Why not go to the beach more?
@SilentKiller A lengthy post might mean information, yes.

You posted in a public forum. I responded. I think you are using "shirtlessness" as a substitute for your real identity issue.

And yes, that's my take.

You can block me or make your post private; it makes no difference to me.
