@CookieCrumbs Crappily, I had surgery on my right foot for nerve damage and my right calf for a tendon repair on May 3rd, I was supposed to be just resting and recuperating at home until June 3rd. But on Friday through Sunday, I was caught up in drama with a married couple I knew very well, because both cheated on each other, and one wanted a divorce and the other did not. Yes, with a 9-year-old and 13-year-old kid together and caught in the middle of the parent's strife/drama with the mother assaulting the father in front of them and the Sherriff being called. If was a mess but I told them Sunday, post the assault I was done with this crap and to take it elsewhere. The assault was not at my farm thank God but at their own marital home before I could get there to help mediate the matter. So shittily to say the least.
@CookieCrumbs I was, and we met because their older nephews were on the wrestling team with my son when he was in high school. we got close because of that. Though I am 58 years old, and they are 39 and 42, we bonded over the older kids wrestling program and they were starting their family. I was like an uncle to the kids they had.
