The only birds I see and hear nowadays are pigeons and occasionally a couple crows. Used to be a lot of birds here in the middle of Denver, including Northern Flickers and a small hawk. No one talks about where they all went.

Recently moved to a more countrified area and the difference in noise is amazing. Gone is the constant traffic noise in favour of birds and cows and sheep. Love it

As long as they don't awaken me. During migration, there can be hundreds of Canada geese out our windows. They honking wakes us up too early.
