Paid £16 for an average bowl of carbonara and £10 for a gin and tonic last night.

Yeah I was surprised when I was in London recently over Christmas. Pre Covid it was cheaper than Australia to eat out most often.

@Notladylike I wouldn't mind if the food was actually special. I could easily have made myself a much nicer bowl of pasta at home.
@Kuronekko Yeah it’s just taking the piss really

Good thing too because both of those things will add Pounds to your body weight too! LOL

Just a little Amercian fun poking at the UK monetary system.

@Kuronekko I laughed because you laughed, but I honestly hate hearing about being stressed that is the one thing that can make you sick when you are not and susceptible to flus and such.

Take care.

@WillaKissing I'm just 6 weeks out of a breakup, my appetite is slowly returning now ☺

@Kuronekko Yeah, that will stress a person out, especially if it was a long relationship of years and time invested. 💐

Everything is going up but paychecks
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@pdockal Conservatives in our country attribute rising costs in hospitality to increases in the minimum wage . . which of course is always a BAD THING 🙃
