Most of this is like a written description of a YouTube vid of 2 women in Russia, or somewhere nearby. They spend some time inside the house, both of them barefoot. When they decide to go out, the visitor puts her shoes on, but then you hear the russian word for barefoot once or twice. After a slight pause, maybe hesitation, she removes her shoes, and then goes outside in her bare feet, just like the other woman. All of that vid could have been genuine, or parts could have been scripted.

Nice, but it wouldn't be me. My boyfriend is always barefoot himself, but would never want me going barefoot.

Every time I would go barefoot I would step on a bee, or run and stub my toe or step on glass or something.
